Kofax ERP Export connector installation fails with error 1001

When installing KCEC Export Connector ERP 2.4.9 with KC10.1 it fails with the message “Error 1001 – unable to get installer types in the c:\Program Files (x86)\Kofax\CaptureSS\ServLib\Bin\DicomPS.ERP.ReleaseScript.dll assembly

Unable to load one or more of the requested types. Retrieve the Loader Exceptions property for more information”. The problem is DicomPS.ERP.ReleaseScript.dll has a reference to Kofax.ReleaseLib.Interop.dll (compiled for .NET 2.0). But KC 10.1 has not this dll anymore.

Copy the file ftp.kofax.com/techsupport/xxyyzzyyxx/Kofax.ReleaseLib.Interop.dll (its the file from a KC10 installation) to c:\Windows\Assembly.Also copy the downloaded Kofax.ReleaseLib.Interop.dll to Kofax Capture Bin folder usually found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Kofax\CaptureSS\ServLib\Bin

After that the installation works as desired.
