If you create a new profile within the Configuration Manager of IBM FileNet Content Engine or IBM Content Navigator it might be that the connection to you WebSphere Application Server cannot be made an the cell is not determined. This could be due to wrong TLS settings.
You can add “-Dhttps.protocols=”TLSv1,TLSv1.1,TLSv1.2″” into the configmgr.ini file, after -vmargs.
Another possible solution could be to use WebSphere JRE instead of the ICN shipped JRE for the configuration manager. Here you need to change the path to the JRE within the configmgr.ini file.
