After a EDM 2.2.2 base installation on a WebSphere Application Server 9.0.5 the connection to the SOAP port was not longer possible. To solve the issue you need to follow this procedure.

  1. Delete all content under the following location
  • D:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01/wstemp
  • D:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01/temp
  • D:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01/config/temp

2. execute D:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01/bin/

3. Clear the OSGI class cache by running clearClassCache:
