In some cases it can happens that the update installer of IBM Content Manager EE does not replace or remove all previous libraries. In this case you may receive the following error in the afu_webapplication_trace_0.log.

Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com/ibm/mm/sdk/common/DKServerDefICM.isUTF8UserAuthenticationEncodingModifyUser()Z (loaded from file:/C:/IBM/db2cmv8/lib/cmbicmc81.jar by com.ibm.ws.classloading.internal.AppClassLoader@9f64cf9e) called from class com.ibm.mm.sdk.server.DKDatastoreICM (loaded from file:/C:/IBM/db2cmv8/lib/cmbicmsdk81.jar by com.ibm.ws.classloading.internal.AppClassLoader@9f64cf9e).
Solution:
Look for the cmbicmc81.jar in the /db2cmv8/lib directory and delete it.
