Move a Datacap application to another environment

If you want ot move an existing datacap application from one environment to another (mostly from development to production) the following steps are required for a successfull deployment.

  1. copy the whole application folder to the new environment. Best is to Zip the folder before
  2. launch the application copy tool on the new environment and set the path to the copied application folder and ADM and ENG database
  3. check the “Add new application” box and set the path for the new application
